Camshaft Engineering Services

 

      Following the closure of Leonard Reece Precision Camshafts in late 2003, Retro Track and Air has acquired the tooling and patterns to manufacture and recondition camshafts for a wide range of aircraft engines, historic racing cars and for many classic and vintage cars.

 

      This range of services complements our current major support capability for the large piston engined Warbirds and will, we hope, introduce many new owners to the fine, precision engineering skills of our Gloucestershire-based company.

Retro provides the following services:     Manufacturing new camshafts from drawings or original patterns     Regrind existing camshaft profiles     Repair and recondition existing camshafts

       Retro Air will also arrange specialist polishing, apply advanced surface treatments, and can also cylindrically grind a wide range of camshafts and precision parts.
